Host to an exotic culture and numerous exquisite sceneries, Thailand is also popular for being the birth place of the sport Muay Thai. Muay Thai kickboxing is arguably the most popular spectator sport in the country. The excitement you feel as a spectator of this sport is unlike anything else, as anything can happen during a fight. Further, another game which is indigenous to Thailand is sepak takraw, which is played with a rattan ball by individuals with light, swift feet. All over the country, there are several versions of this game, all with different sets of rules. In this game, only the feet and the head are allowed to touch the ball. Finally, football, although still in its developing stages in the region, has already gained a huge following in Thailand. Numerous competitions are already being organised around the country and several young men are taking up the sport.
